Investing in Community Health Initiatives

Deaconess Associations Foundation invests in community health initiatives that provide healthcare access and education to at-risk populations. Since 2012, the Foundation has made nearly $15 million in grants to deliver measurable improvements in community health.

Our focus is on programs and grants that:

  • Meet the basic healthcare needs of at-risk populations
  • Educate consumers to help them make better and healthier decisions
  • Encourage prevention
  • Promote a higher quality of life
  • Fill voids in treatment
  • Build alliances among community providers who share our mission

How do organizations learn of grant opportunities?

Grants that are open to the general community are announced on our webite and in our newsletters. Funding opportunities also are announced through email. To receive announcements, please register now.
